Shipping and Payment Terms
Here you will find, in plain terms, where we deliver, how you can pay, what is included in the price and when production of your stationery starts. These Shipping and Payment Terms supplement our General Terms and Conditions and our withdrawal instructions (Rücktrittsbelehrung); they form part of the pre-contractual information under § 4 FAGG (Fern- und Auswärtsgeschäfte-Gesetz, the Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Transactions Act). Two things we tell you straight away, without sugar-coating: the shop is currently in test mode, and real payments are not possible (details in Section 2); and delivery is currently possible only to addresses in Austria and Germany – we do not currently deliver to Slovenia (details in Section 3).
1. Who sells and delivers to you
Your contracting party for all orders placed through this website is:
Michael Jöbstl Einzelunternehmen (sole proprietorship under Austrian law) Puchstrasse 145, 8054 Graz, Austria Email: michaeljoebst87@gmail.com Phone: 06604736784 (from abroad: +43 660 4736784) UID-Nummer (Umsatzsteuer-Identifikationsnummer, Austrian VAT ID): ATU79764514
The seller is in every case this Austrian sole proprietorship with its registered seat in Austria; we do not maintain any branch, permanent establishment or warehouse outside Austria.
The language of the contract (Vertragssprache) is English. All further mandatory disclosures can be found in our Impressum (the legally required provider identification), and all information about how we process your data is in our privacy policy.
What we make: personalised wedding stationery and decor. Production is exclusively by high-quality paper printing, direct UV printing on purchased blanks, and 3D printing.
The product pages on this website are purely informational. At present, the only item that can be ordered bindingly is the welcome sign, via the configurator in the wedding section. Prices, the total amount and all order details are shown to you in the configurator and once again in full before you place your order (§ 8 Abs 1 FAGG).
2. Current test mode: no real payments at this time
Our payment service provider Stripe is currently switched to test mode. Concretely, and without sugar-coating it:
- No real payments are processed. - Your card is not charged; real card data cannot be processed in test mode. - For as long as this is the case, no order subject to an obligation to pay comes into existence, nothing is produced and nothing is shipped.
If you would like to order something or receive a quote during this phase, please write to us directly at michaeljoebst87@gmail.com or call 06604736784 (from abroad: +43 660 4736784). As soon as we go live, this section will no longer apply and the payment process described here will apply without restriction.
3. Delivery area: Austria and Germany
We deliver exclusively to delivery addresses in Austria and Germany. During checkout, only these two countries can be selected as the delivery country.
We currently do not deliver to Slovenia or to any other country. This also applies if you reached us via our German-language, English-language or Slovenian-language site: the delivery area is identical across all of them.
Important for you if you live outside Austria and Germany: we do not lock anyone out. You can order from any member state of the EU and the EEA on exactly the same terms – the delivery address simply has to be in Austria or Germany (for example at the address of relatives, witnesses or the wedding venue). This corresponds to Art 4 of the Geo-blocking Regulation (EU) 2018/302: the restriction concerns the delivery area, not your place of residence or your nationality. Nor do we automatically redirect you to another language version or domain; you decide yourself which site you use.
We deliberately tell you about this delivery restriction at the very beginning of the ordering process and not only in the final step (§ 8 Abs 3 FAGG).
4. Prices and VAT
All prices are in euros and are gross prices including 20 % Austrian Umsatzsteuer (VAT; the Austrian standard rate). The VAT contained in them is calculated out of the gross amount.
We apply a single tax rate to all deliveries, that is, the same rate for Austria and for Germany. For you this means: the gross price displayed is the same regardless of whether we deliver to Austria or to Germany, and it is the amount you actually pay.
What is always decisive is the total amount displayed to you immediately before you place your order. We deliberately do not show prices on the product pages at present; binding prices only arise in the configurator, because they depend on the details you enter.
We do not work with struck-through prices, discount campaigns or comparison prices. Should that change, we will state the lowest price of the previous 30 days with every price reduction, as required by § 9a Preisauszeichnungsgesetz (the Austrian Price Labelling Act).
5. Shipping costs
There is currently no shipping cost item stored in our order system. This means that no shipping costs are added to the amount you see during checkout – that amount is the total amount of your order.
We deliberately do not quote a flat shipping rate or offer a shipping cost calculator here, because neither currently exists. Should we charge shipping costs in future, they will be clearly stated before you place your order, and only then will they become part of the total price (§ 4 Abs 1 Z 4 and § 8 Abs 1 FAGG). Without prior disclosure, you pay no shipping costs.
6. Payment: credit card via Stripe
Payment method: at present we accept credit card only. We process payments through the payment service provider Stripe. We do not currently offer other payment methods – bank transfer, purchase on account, cash on delivery, direct debit, digital wallets.
This is how payment works:
1. You complete the configuration and see the full order summary with all details and the total amount. 2. You are redirected to the checkout page hosted by Stripe at checkout.stripe.com. 3. You enter your card details there only, that is, directly with Stripe.
We never see, process or store your card details at any point. No Stripe script is embedded on our own website; payment data never reaches our site.
Providing a billing address is mandatory. It is required in order to process the payment and to record the transaction correctly for tax purposes.
Payment is made immediately in the course of the order (payment in advance). You can read in our privacy policy which data Stripe processes as a controller in its own right in this context.
For as long as the test mode described in Section 2 is running, no real amount is collected via this route.
7. Production, completion and shipping
Start of production: we only start production after payment has been received. This applies in particular to personalised items, because they are made specifically for you after your order and cannot be used for anyone else.
Production and delivery times: we deliberately do not state a figure in days or weeks here for as long as we cannot commit to it bindingly. Invented deadlines are the last thing that helps you when a wedding is involved. Until we set binding deadlines and display them during the ordering process, the statutory rule of § 7a KSchG (Konsumentenschutzgesetz, the Austrian Consumer Protection Act) applies: we deliver without undue delay, in any case within 30 days of conclusion of the contract, unless something else has been expressly agreed with you.
If we are unable to meet this deadline, please get in touch with us. You can then set us an additional period of reasonable length and, if that period also expires without delivery, withdraw from the contract; in that case we refund any amounts already paid in full.
You do not need to set us such an additional period if we seriously and definitively refuse to deliver, or if delivery by a specific date was essential to you – which, for a wedding, is regularly the case. In these cases you may withdraw from the contract immediately (§ 7a Abs 2 KSchG).
Passing of risk: the risk of accidental loss of or damage to the goods only passes to you as a consumer once you, or a person named by you (not the carrier), have actually received the goods (§ 7b KSchG). Damage occurring in transit on the way to you is therefore not at your expense.
If you receive a damaged parcel, please write to us at michaeljoebst87@gmail.com and, where possible, send us photos of the packaging and the contents. This is not a precondition for your rights, but it helps us resolve matters quickly.
8. Order acknowledgement and contract documents
As soon as you place your order, it is visible to you in your customer account together with all details, your personalisation and the total amount.
Beyond that, you are entitled to a confirmation of the concluded contract on a durable medium (§ 7 Abs 3 FAGG), which you receive within a reasonable time after conclusion of the contract, at the latest upon delivery, and which contains the General Terms and Conditions, the withdrawal instructions with the model withdrawal form, these Shipping and Payment Terms, and the data protection notice.
Before you place your order, you can check and correct your entries once more – in particular names, dates and all text that will be printed. Please use this opportunity carefully: with personalised items we print exactly what you have approved.
9. Cancellation, withdrawal and refunds
All details of your statutory right of withdrawal are set out in our separate withdrawal instructions (Rücktrittsbelehrung) together with the model withdrawal form. Here we cover only what concerns shipping and payment:
Items without personalisation: for items that we do not make specifically according to your personal specifications, you have the full statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from receipt of the goods (§ 11 FAGG).
Items made specifically for you: for goods that are made to your specifications or are clearly tailored to your personal needs – for example a welcome sign bearing your names, your wedding date or your individual text – there is no 14-day right of withdrawal under § 18 Abs 1 Z 3 FAGG. This exception does not apply across the board to our entire range, but only to the specific items concerned. Whether it applies to a particular item follows from whether that item is made according to your personal details – as with the welcome sign named above, bearing your names and date. There is currently no separate label on the individual item or in the order process; what applies is set out in this shipping and payment information and in our Terms and Conditions.
Refunds: if you validly withdraw, we refund all payments received from you without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of receiving your declaration of withdrawal (§ 14 FAGG). The refund is made to the same means of payment you used to pay; this costs you nothing. We will only agree a different form of repayment if you expressly wish it.
The statutory warranty of conformity (Gewährleistung) under the Verbrauchergewährleistungsgesetz (the Austrian Consumer Warranty Act) – two years from handover, with the burden of proof reversed in your favour during the first year – applies independently of the right of withdrawal and also to personalised items. It can neither be shortened nor excluded. This is a statutory liability of the seller, not a voluntary guarantee.
If mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country of your habitual residence grant you more favourable protection as a consumer, that protection remains fully available to you (see Section 11).
10. Questions and complaints about shipping and payment
If you have questions about your order, about payment or about shipping, you can reach us directly:
Email: michaeljoebst87@gmail.com Phone: 06604736784 (from abroad: +43 660 4736784)
We handle complaints personally and without any intermediary. Please describe briefly what the matter is about and give us your name, the date of your order and the email address you used to order.
If we are unable to reach agreement in a specific dispute, we will inform you separately, on paper or on another durable medium, of the competent alternative dispute resolution (ADR) entity and will at the same time tell you whether we will take part in proceedings before that entity (§ 19 Abs 3 AStG – Alternative-Streitbeilegung-Gesetz, the Austrian Alternative Dispute Resolution Act). We have not entered into any general obligation to participate in dispute resolution proceedings; your right to approach the competent ADR entity remains unaffected by this.
11. Choice of law and place of jurisdiction
Austrian law applies, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of mandatory protections granted by the law of the country of their habitual residence.
For consumers, the statutory places of jurisdiction remain unaffected; in particular, you can sue us at your place of residence. Vis-à-vis entrepreneurs (business customers), Graz is agreed as the place of jurisdiction.
12. Version of these terms
The version of these Shipping and Payment Terms that applies to your order is the version that was available on the website at the time you placed your order and that you receive on a durable medium together with the contract confirmation.
Version dated 17 September 2026.
