Information on the Conclusion of a Contract
Here you can find out how an order with us works technically, which steps are required before an order becomes binding, how you can spot and correct input errors beforehand, what happens to the text of the contract, and in which language the contract is concluded. We provide this information pursuant to § 9 para 1 ECG (E-Commerce-Gesetz, the Austrian E-Commerce Act) and in addition to the pre-contractual information duties under § 4 FAGG (Fern- und Auswärts-Geschäfte-Gesetz, the Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Transactions Act). Vis-à-vis consumers, these duties cannot be waived or contracted out of (§ 11 ECG). Please also read our AGB (Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen, our general terms and conditions) and our information on the right of withdrawal (Rücktrittsrecht) – they belong together.
First things first: the ordering process is currently running in test mode
Our payment processing via Stripe is set up exclusively in test mode. This means: no real payments are processed, no cards are charged, and no orders are carried out or produced.
For as long as this is the case, no contract of sale entailing any payment obligation comes into existence via this website, and you will not receive any goods through this website either.
If you have questions, you can reach us at michaeljoebst87@gmail.com or by phone on +43 660 4736784.
The sections below describe the ordering process as it is technically set up. They become authoritative from the moment the shop switches to live operation.
Who your contracting party is
Michael Jöbstl Einzelunternehmen (Austrian sole proprietorship – a one-person business under Austrian law, not a company or a branch outside Austria) Puchstrasse 145, 8054 Graz, Austria Email: michaeljoebst87@gmail.com Phone: +43 660 4736784 UID-Nummer (Umsatzsteuer-Identifikationsnummer, Austrian VAT ID): ATU79764514
Across all of our sites – hochzeitsdruckwerk.at, hochzeitsdruckwerk.de, hochzeitsdruckwerk.com and porocnitisk.si – your contracting party is one and the same Austrian Einzelunternehmen based in Graz, Austria. The complete provider details can be found in our Impressum (the provider identification required under § 5 ECG).
What can actually be ordered on this website
Our product pages are purely informational. They deliberately contain no prices, no delivery times, no availability statements and no reviews, and nothing can be ordered through them. What they show are our products and design ideas: acrylic welcome sign, table stationery set, personalised ring box, vow books, guest book with keepsake box, name cards as guest favours, QR code stand, and save-the-date magnets.
Technically connected at present is only the configurator for the welcome sign in the wedding section; it leads to the Stripe checkout page described in the previous section, which runs exclusively in test mode.
The product images are AI-generated mood images and are labelled as such on the website. They show the design idea, not one specific individual piece that will be delivered to you. Production is exclusively by high-quality paper printing, direct UV printing on blanks sourced from suppliers, and 3D printing.
The technical steps leading up to an order (§ 9 para 1 no 1 ECG)
1. You open the configurator and enter your details and design wishes there, or select from the options offered.
2. The configurator shows your selection to you as you go. For as long as you have not completed the ordering process, you can change or discard any entry as often as you like.
3. When you start the ordering process, you are redirected to the checkout page operated by Stripe at checkout.stripe.com. That page is hosted by Stripe. No payment script is embedded in our own website; you enter your card details exclusively at Stripe, and we never get to see them.
4. On the checkout page you enter your billing address (mandatory), your delivery address in Austria or Germany, and your card details.
5. Before you submit, you are shown the composition of your order there together with the total amount in euros.
6. Only when you expressly submit the order with an obligation to pay on the checkout page do you make a binding contractual declaration. Until then, no obligations of any kind arise for you.
7. You are then redirected back to our website.
You can abandon the process at any time up to submission without any consequences – simply go back or close the window.
Recognising and correcting input errors (§ 9 para 1 no 3 ECG)
Before you submit: – In the configurator you can click into any field again, overwrite it or clear it. – The composition of your order is shown to you once more before you submit. Please read it through carefully, especially the spelling of names, the date and all free-text entries. Whatever you enter there is what gets printed. – On the Stripe checkout page you can correct address and payment fields before you send the order off, and you can use the way back to the website to return to the configurator.
After you submit: Please get in touch as early as possible by email at michaeljoebst87@gmail.com or by phone on +43 660 4736784 and describe what needs to be changed. Since we only begin production after payment has been received, the earlier your message reaches us, the more likely it is that a correction can still be arranged. This notice does not create any legal entitlement to have an order that has already been submitted as binding changed after the fact.
Your binding declaration and what happens next
In the current test operation, no contract comes into existence via this website.
In live operation the following applies: by submitting the order with an obligation to pay on the checkout page, you make your binding contractual declaration. Whether and how we accept this declaration is not yet reflected in the ordering system – there is neither an automatic order confirmation nor any other declaration of acceptance.
For live operation, two further steps are legally mandatory: we must acknowledge receipt of your order electronically without undue delay (§ 10 ECG); this acknowledgment of receipt is not an acceptance of the contract. And at the latest upon delivery, you must receive confirmation of the concluded contract on a durable medium (dauerhafter Datenträger) containing all pre-contractual information (§ 7 para 3 FAGG); a mere order overview displayed in the browser is not sufficient for this.
Both require a system for order and contract confirmations. Such automated dispatch is not currently set up at our end. That is one of the reasons why the ordering process runs exclusively in test mode until further notice.
Production only begins once payment has been received.
Storage of the contract text (§ 9 para 1 no 2 ECG)
Our AGB (general terms and conditions), the information on the right of withdrawal and this page can be accessed via the website at any time, and you can save them in your browser, store them as a PDF or print them out.
We expressly recommend that you do so while you are placing your order, and that you additionally secure the order summary displayed to you, for example as a printout or a screenshot. That way you can document the content of your order independently of our website.
A user account with login does exist on the website.
Contract languages (§ 9 para 1 no 4 ECG)
On hochzeitsdruckwerk.at and hochzeitsdruckwerk.de the contract language is German, on hochzeitsdruckwerk.com English, and on porocnitisk.si Slovenian. A contract concluded via this website (hochzeitsdruckwerk.com) is therefore concluded in the English language.
In all language versions your contracting party is the same Austrian Einzelunternehmen. The translations are provided so that you can understand us; they are not intended to create any differing legal consequences. Decisive for the content of the contract is the language version of the website through which you place your order.
The payment step takes place on the checkout page operated by Stripe, which is not designed by us.
Prices, taxes and currency
All prices are gross prices in euros and already include Austrian Umsatzsteuer (VAT) of 20 per cent (the standard rate under § 10 para 1 UStG 1994 – Umsatzsteuergesetz 1994, the Austrian VAT Act). The tax is calculated out of the gross amount. The same tax rate applies for all destination countries.
No currency other than the euro is available.
The ordering system currently does not provide for a separate shipping cost item. The amount displayed on the checkout page is therefore the total amount of your order.
Prices are not shown on the product pages; they are displayed in the configurator and on the checkout page.
Payment method and delivery area – you know this before you start ordering (§ 8 para 3 FAGG)
Payment method: payment can be made by credit card through the payment service provider Stripe. We do not offer any other payment methods. You enter your card details exclusively on the checkout page hosted by Stripe. Providing a billing address is mandatory.
Delivery area: we deliver exclusively to delivery addresses in Austria and Germany. You can order from us regardless of your nationality and your place of residence, and you will not be redirected to a different language version when doing so – you only have to give us a delivery address in Austria or Germany. We do not currently ship to Slovenia or to other countries.
Right of withdrawal: what you need to know before ordering
As consumers, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal (Rücktrittsrecht) for distance contracts (Fernabsatzverträge), running from receipt of the goods (§§ 11 et seq FAGG).
Under § 18 para 1 no 3 FAGG, however, this right does not exist for goods that are made to your specifications or are clearly tailored to your personal needs – for example a sign, a card or a book printed with your names, your wedding date or your individual text.
This exclusion does not apply across the board to our entire range. For items that are produced without your individual data or are supplied as ready-made goods, the right of withdrawal remains in full.
An item-by-item indicator showing whether a right of withdrawal exists for a particular item is not yet set up in the shop. If you are unsure, please contact us before ordering so that we can clarify this for the specific item. You will find the details, including the model withdrawal form (Muster-Rücktrittsformular), in our information on the right of withdrawal.
Applicable law
Austrian law applies, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of mandatory protections granted by the law of the country of their habitual residence.
So if, for example, your habitual residence is in Germany, the mandatory German consumer protection provisions that are more favourable to you remain applicable (Art 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008, Rome I).
